United keeper Morgan Bacon has today joined Kendal Town FC on a one-month loan deal.
Bacon, 19, joins the Northern Premier League Division One outfit ahead of their away trip to Ossett Albion this weekend.
The young keeper came through the United ranks to earn a one-year professional development contract in May this year.
He has previously spent time out on loan at Penrith and, more recently, with Shaw Lane earlier this season.
Manager Keith Curle said: "As we’ve said before, we’re looking at Morgan’s development and a key part of that is that he needs competitive game time.
“This is another chance for him to get out on the pitch and he’ll be doing it with a local club who we know will look after him.
"We’ll also be able to keep an eye on him, which is important, because I know he’ll be going there to impress.”
