Midfielder Samir Nabi has today signed a one-year deal [with an option] which keeps him at United until the summer of 2018.
Former-Baggies graduate Nabi, 20, joined United having been abroad with the Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League at the end of March this year.
He made one appearance for the Blues, impressing when he came off the bench during the 2-0 victory at Yeovil at the beginning of April.
Manager Keith Curle said: "Samir is an excellent technical player and we now need to school him in what he needs to do and where he needs to be when we are out of possession.
"He needs to develop his own personality within the group and build on the good start he's had with us.
"He's had a fantastic grounding in the game and he's developed many good habits.
"We think we've got a player we can work with and we're looking forward to seeing how he integrates and settles now that he has the security of this contract."
