Result from the Wednesday afternoon youth game
The Clarets took an early lead but United stuck to the task and bagged three goals - from Max Brown, Jack Egan and Arron Bradbury - to seal a good victory on their latest away day trip.Forward Jack Egan said: "My goal came when the keeper pushed it out and I was able to knock it in.
"Overall we played well and we deserved the win. Burnley are a good side but we took our chances and we come away really happy."
Youth coach Vince Overson said: "We went behind but, to be fair to the lads, they could have scored a couple of goals before that.
"They didn't allow it to rattle them and they kept their shape and discipline, along with playing some decent football.
"The goals were well taken and, for a young side with three under-16s involved, it was a good learning tool."
