Tuesday afternoon reserve game at Brunton Park
United ran out as convincing winners against a Barrow reserve side which had former-Blues Dave Symington and Danny Eccles in their ranks on Tuesday afternoon as trialists bagged all four of the goals for the hosts.Bastien Hery, Joe Thompson, Patrick Brough and Troy Archibald-Henville played the full 90 minutes with Steven Rigg, Alexander McQueen and Angelo Balanta getting 45 minutes each.
United coach Lee Dykes said: "It was very worthwhile for our lads to get more game time under their belts against a decent level of opposition.
"It was also good for the coaching staff to be able to take a look at some trial players. We had a number of them with us here today and I think they all enjoyed the experience."
