Season ticket sales up on last season
Carlisle United are delighted to report that season ticket sales for the 2016/17 season remain up as we head into the final week of our Early Buy period.
1,402 United fans have purchased their tickets since the first day of sale in April and, with just two days left of the three-game saving Early Buy period, interest remains high following a run of signings which signal a real intent to push on through the coming season.
Ticket office manager Tarn Simmons said: “At the same point last year we’d sold 1,281 season tickets and, from what our fans are telling us, there is real enthusiasm following the signings we’ve already made through the summer.
“There’s a genuine feeling that this could be a season to enjoy and that’s been reflected in the way that season ticket sales have remained steady during May and June.
“We’re expecting to see more interest again this week as people take advantage of the three-game saving on offer and, with more and more benefits to be added to the season ticket package, we think we’ve provided a very good deal yet again.”
