Charlie Wyke nominated for Player of the Month award
The November nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award are:Omar Bogle (Grimsby Town) – striker
Scoring all but two of his side’s November goals, it was the variety of Bogle’s seven in four games which really stood out. A tap-in, a flicked header, one-on-one finishes and even a 30-yard stunner into the top corner against Crawley.
Jordan Houghton (Doncaster Rovers) - midfielder
The 21-year-old Chelsea loanee has become indispensable in a deep-lying midfield role. Strong in the tackle, he has the vision and a stunning array of passes to find teammates. His goal against Orient showed that he can finish, too.
Aaron Pierre (Wycombe Wanderers) – central defender
A strong physical presence at the heart of a Wycombe defence which kept three clean sheets in four games, the 23-year-old found time to make a telling contribution at the other end with two assists and a late winner at Cambridge.
Charlie Wyke (Carlisle United) - striker
His first-ever Sky Bet EFL hat-trick - against Mansfield – was part of a six-goal haul from four games and included two headers for a player who comes alive in the box. As well as his goals, his improved link-up play has also impressed.
