Result from the first U18 game of the season
Both sides played some decent stuff in an entertaining season opener but defences came out on top with clean sheets all round.
"This was a great, solid performance and we come away feeling very pleased," Academy Manager Darren Edmondson said. "We had two excellent chances to win the game late on and we used the ball well overall.
"I am very happy with what they all, particularly in what was extreme heat, and they showed me that they are learning all the time."
