Blackpool initial away allocation sold out
Carlisle United have sold out of their initial allocation of 500 tickets for the Blackpool away game on Saturday 17 September on the first day of sales - having opened ticket sales for the eagerly anticipated encounter one week ahead of schedule.
Away ticket sales for this fixture are currently suspended, and we are awaiting a second batch of 1,000 tickets - expected to arrive on Thursday.
Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens said: “We decided to start selling our allocation for this game seven days ahead of the usual two-week sales period we allocate for away match ticket sales, after responding to a request to do this from our supporters.
“It was always going to be a popular game, and that is even more the case now with the team playing so well. We have kept an open line of dialogue with Blackpool and we are very hopeful that our next batch of tickets will be with us and on sale on Thursday.
“It promises to be a great atmosphere and fixture and it’s one we’re all looking forward to.”
