Weekend fixtures postponed ahead of Christmas
The Carlisle United U18 away fixtures at Shrewsbury [12 Dec] and Walsall [19 Dec] have been postponed in the wake of the recent flooding event at Brunton Park.
Academy manager Alan Moore said: “We lost our equipment, our training clothing, our strips and a lot of items we need that would allow us to train and prepare as normal when the flood water came into the building.
“Everybody, from the relevant authorities to the other clubs involved, has been completely understanding of the situation and we would like to say thank you to them all for that. This gives us the time we need to get ourselves sorted and back on track.”
