Kick off brought forward at Rodney Parade
Carlisle United’s away game at Newport County will now kick off at 1pm on Saturday 13 February 2016 following consultation between the clubs this week.
An official from Rodney Parade explained: “This is due to a Rugby international being hosted in Cardiff that same day [kick off 5pm].
“That brings the potential for heavy traffic for your supporters coming into and out of Newport, and along the M4/M50 corridor.
"By bringing the kick off forward by two hours it should help us to alleviate the problems that could cause.”
