Defender extends loan spell
Carlisle United can confirm that Bolton Wanderers defender Hayden White has extended his loan spell and will stay with the club until midnight on 15 November 2014.
White, 19, joined the Cumbrians ahead of the Mansfield Town away game last month and has helped the team to get three clean sheets from his five appearances so far.
He came through the youth ranks at Sheffield Wednesday and signed for Bolton in July 2013 having turned down a contract at Hillsborough.
He made his professional debut in January 2014 and has a total of five appearances under his belt for his parent club, including three at the start of this campaign.
“We like Hayden and we think he is enjoying himself here,” manager Keith Curle said. “We think there is still room for him to develop and improve but he has a lot of very good attributes.
“He’s getting regular league football here and that can only be good for him. Bolton are happy for him to stay up here and we are more than happy that he will be with us as we continue to build on the work we’ve done.”
This loan extension is subject to the relevant paperwork being completed on Monday.
