Former Rovers midfielder makes Brunton Park switch
Carlisle United have today signed midfielder Alex Marrow on a one-year deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until the summer of 2015.
Marrow, 24, started his career in the youth ranks with Bolton and Blackburn and enjoyed fruitful loan spells with Oldham and Crystal Palace during his early years at Ewood Park.
His move to Palace was made permanent in 2011 and loan spells with Preston North End and Fleetwood followed before he returned to Blackburn Rovers in 2013.
He enjoyed a second spell on loan with Fleetwood last season and has been in training with the United squad through most of this pre-season so far.
