Beck joins Falkirk on loan
Striker Mark Beck has joined Scottish Championship pace setters Falkirk on a half season loan deal which keeps him with the Bairns until the end of the current season.
Beck, 19, came through the youth ranks at Brunton Park and worked his way onto the first team bench at the end of the 2011/12 season.
The Scotland U19 and U21 international signed a three year deal with the Cumbrians following an impressive start to the 2012/13 campaign and has made 47 appearances and scored seven goals for the Blues so far.
"We think this is a fantastic opportunity for Mark," manager Graham Kavanagh said. "Falkirk are flying high in a very good division and they have a management team and staff who will really look after him.
"We're hoping that he will go up there, settle in and get some valuable game time under his belt. If it goes as we expect it to we have no doubt that it will help with his development. He will come back much the better for the experience and ready to push on with us through the summer and on into next season."
