And FREE entry agreed for United fans
Carlisle United Football Club can confirm that fans who bought their tickets for last Saturday’s postponed away fixture against Crawley Town via the Brunton Park ticket office are now entitled to a full refund ... and free entry to the rearranged fixture (date tbc).
Sustained and prolonged bad weather left match referee Rob Lewis with concerns over player safety in the penalty area at the KRL stand end of the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Saturday morning despite a huge effort from club staff and supporters to get the game the green light.
The match was subsequently called off, following two pitch inspections, just as the day travel supporters bus was pulling into the main club car park.
“Crawley have moved quickly to confirm that all United fans who purchased their tickets for the game from our ticket office will be entitled to a full refund,” media officer Andy Hall said.
“On return of that ticket, and on receipt of the refund, those same fans will also be entitled to a FREE ticket for the rearranged fixture. We would like to thank Crawley Town for helping our supporters in this way.”
Keep an eye on the official website for details of the rearranged fixture date.
