Dave Symington said: "It's always good to get out in the community, particularly when you get to see what the younger kids are up to. We always enjoy coming to things like this because we get to join in and you get to see smiles on faces just because we've turned up. The best thing for me is that we're giving something back to the fans and we're not just people they see on the pitch. What you always have to remember is that these could be the fans of the future so I like to do as many appearances as I can to do my bit for the club."
Brad Potts said: "I think I picked up the community award last year and that was off the back of doing appearances like these. I always enjoy them and I know the people we come to see look forward to having us. It helps people to see that you're a real person and they can come up and have a laugh or a chat with you. I think it ends up being of great benefit to everybody."
Goalkeeper Mark Gillespie said: "We always join in as much as we can and this has been a good one because we've been able to see so many kids enjoying themselves. There were quite a few Carlisle fans here and they had a lot of questions that they wanted answering. It's always good to be able to do that and if just a few of them go to school and say they were playing football and talking to Carlisle players then that can only be a good thing."
