Available to pre-order from JD Sports today, England’s new strips are for the 2014 World Cup but heavily influenced in style by World Cup Mexico 1970. Although featuring modern touches such as the Nike logo, the all-white home kit maintains a classic look. It has a pinstripe effect in silver to promote an armour-like quality and the badge has been brightened with a metallic weave.
The away kit is a red and white design, with an innovative optical illusion embedded into the fabric. This allows you to see St George’s Cross from a distance and should prove to be a striking design when viewed on pitch.
