Result from the morning fixture
Jack Elliott, Jason Blackburn and Tom White gave United a healthy first half lead against Morecambe this morning and their efforts up front were backed up by an excellent penalty save from keeper Lewis Brass.
Frankie Wallace added to the tally after the break and it was smiles all round from a very competent performance.
"The lads played really well and we're pleased with the way they approached it," youth boss Davie Irons said. "They looked confident and it was good to see them take their chances."
