Work experience for young stopper
Second year youth keeper Lewis Brass has joined Workington FC today on a work experience package which makes him available for the Skrill Football Conference North away trip to North Ferriby United tonight.
Brass, 17, has already enjoyed work experience spells with Penrith and Celtic Nation towards the end of last season where he notched up eight impressive first team appearances.
"Lewis had his spells away last season and he did really well," keeper coach Tony Caig said. "This is another step up for him and it's one we think he is more than capable of handling.
"He's grown in confidence already this season and this is a good opportunity for him to go and get more experience with another good local club."
