Buaben signs for United
Carlisle United have today signed Ghanaian midfielder Prince Buaben on a permanent deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until the end of the 2013/14 season.
Buaben, 25, joined Dutch giants Ajax at the age of 15 having cut his teeth in the Netherlands as a youngster with AVV Zeeburgia.
He joined Dundee United on a three-year deal in 2008 and was part of the team which won the Scottish Cup in their centenary season in 2009/10.
He moved to England to join Watford in the Championship in 2011 and made 31 appearances for the Hornets until a long term thigh injury eventually led to his release from the Hertfordshire-based club.
Buaben will join up with his new team mates at their hotel in Milton Keynes tomorrow but he is NOT eligible to play in the Tuesday evening fixture.
This signing remains subject to the completion of a mandatory medical and all registration and clearance paperwork (anticipated to be finalised Thursday 24 October).
