Loan move for Rovers wide man
Carlisle United have signed Blackburn Rovers left sided player Josh Morris on a one-month loan move which keeps him at Brunton Park until 4 January 2014.
Morris, 22, came through the Rovers academy and reserve set ups to earn a place in the first team squad at Ewood Park. He featured in the 3-3 Capital One Cup draw at Brunton Park in August where he unfortunately missed his spot kick as Blackburn lost 4-3 on penalties.
Comfortable at left back or on the left of midfield he made his senior debut as a substitute at Old Trafford in November 2010.
An England youth international, Morris spent the second half of the 2011/12 campaign on loan at League One side Yeovil Town. He has also spent a period on loan this season with Rotherham United before a knee injury forced an early return.
Morris has not been given clearance to play in our FA Cup second round game against Brentford on Saturday 7 December.
We'll have full reaction to this move later today.
