Versatile player checks in
Carlisle United have today signed versatile QPR defender Max Ehmer on a one-month loan deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until 1 December 2013.
German-born Ehmer, 21, has spent time on loan at Yeovil, Preston and Stevenage over the course of the last two seasons and has extensive Football League experience under his belt with a combined tally of 71 appearances for all three clubs.
He signed a contract extension at Loftus Road in August 2012 which keeps him with Rangers until the summer of 2016.
Ehmer initially joined as a schoolboy at the age of 11 and played regularly at Under-16 and Under-18 level, skippering the latter. He has also represented South West Germany at Under-18 level.
He will wear squad number 28.
We'll have reaction to this signing on the official website later today.
