Fans Forum called off
The Fans Forum scheduled for Friday night has been postponed due to other commitments for club officials who would otherwise have been attending the meeting as members of the Forum panel."I now have to attend a late meeting call on Friday surrounding the issue of Premier League solidarity payments as part of my duties as a member of the board of the Football League," managing director John Nixon said.
"Having discussed it with the other members of the panel they are not inclined to go ahead with a partly constructed group and the manager is quite clearly focused on getting three points against Yeovil on Saturday, so his involvement was always in doubt.
"It's unfortunate, but with the Football League meeting, and the desire from the manager to get the right result for us all, we feel the prudent thing to do is to postpone the Forum until such time as all panel members are able to attend.
"We hope this doesn't inconvenience our supporters but we've been here on two previous occasions when the Forum was cancelled for technical reasons by Radio Cumbria. Fingers crossed we can get this Forum completed before the end of the season."
