Blues to play Penrith in semi-final
Carlisle United will play Penrith at home in the semi-final of this season's Cumberland Cup following tonight's draw, made live on BBC Radio Cumbria.
The Blues made it into the hat following victories over Celtic Nation, Longtown, Penrith Rangers and Carlisle City and will expect another tough test from this one.
"Carlisle City showed us in the last round that we can't take anything for granted," Eric Kinder said.
"When you get to the semi-final of any competition your focus is on taking that final step, and that will be the same for all four teams who are still involved.
"Once we have the fixture date sorted out we can start to think about the type of team we will put out there, and it goes without saying that it's a competition we would now like to win.
"That comes from doing it properly and, like I say, from dealing with the fact we will be up against a side who will be doing their best to knock us out. It should be a good game."
Full match details will be posted on the official website as soon as they are confirmed.
