CAP CUP: Draw on Monday

United will be ball number 23 in this season's first round draw and, as one of the non-seeded teams, could find themselves up against some fairly decent opposition.

Full round one draw details will be released at 9.30am on Monday morning with the 2013/14 season fixtures live on the official site at 9am on Wednesday.

The Cumbrians made it to round three and a home game against Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup last season and manager Greg Abbott is looking for more of the same this time round.

"I think we say this every year but all you can ask for from any competition is a home draw," he said.

"Hopefully we'll get that, but we'll look forward to the game wherever it has to be played.

"We had a great night when Spurs came up here last season and I think everyone enjoyed the Ipswich game as well. It's a competition which can bring that level of excitement - we just have to look at Bradford for that - so we'll wait to see who we get and make sure we try to do it properly when the fixture comes around in August."
