CUMBRIANS ELITE: February update

The game is gathering pace

CUMBRIANS ELITE has been up and running for just over six weeks now and the number of members has risen to just over 300 with over 35 teams signed up.

You can register now for only £5 for the whole of 2013 (for a team of up to ten) and take part in competitions, quizzes and social events throughout the year.

Every time you take part in an activity or contribute to the news and views on the website, you will score points for your team which will be shown in the form of a league table. The team that tops the table at the end of the year will be crowned CUMBRIANS ELITE Champion for 2013 and win a trophy worth far more than any Champions League or World Cup medal (probably).

We are also working hard on your behalf to secure deals and discounts for members in shops around the city and county. The more members we have, the more we can do for you.

February has seen the introduction of our good friend 'Jimmy the Fox' on the CUMBRIANS ELITE website (www.elitefamilygames.com/cumbrianselite). Jimmy is a United fanatic and can be found at most games home and away. Jimmy also likes to travel around the country and likes to be photographed in various places – grand or grim.

Have a look on the site and try and work out where he is in each of the photographs.

For each correct guess your team will score more points (see the website for more details).

Another way to score points for your team is to answer all the questions right in our BIG QUIZ – the next one is due online any day now!

The CUMBRIANS ELITE site is not only for news on the Blues. Do you have any other interesting stories or anecdotes to share? Do you want to tell us about a place you have visited or an interesting person you have met or spoken to? Feel free to email us and let us know about any good work going on in your community.

SOCIAL EVENTS

CUMBRIANS ELITE is not just an online venture. We hope to stage a number of events throughout the year to give the fans and members a chance to meet and socialise down at Brunton Park.

Look out for more details on the official website in the near future.

Thank you for your help and support.
