James Berrett on the Bournemouth game
Midfielder James Berrett spoke to us about the Bournemouth game shortly after full time on Saturday.
"It was obviously a massive game for them so there wasn't much pressure on us," he said. "We had a lot of chances in the first half and we were unlucky not to be ahead.
"We played some good stuff but we can't just do it when we haven't got anything to play for."
"If we'd got the first goal it probably would have been a totally different game because they would have had to really come at us," he explained. "We were unlucky with Rory Loy's shot but our overall first half performance probably deserved more.
"Greg [Abbott] told us at half time that we just had to keep going because we played some good football. We started the second half well, we got the goal and we looked like we were going to push on from there. Unfortunately that didn't happen.
"Our goal woke them up a bit and it was a great finish from Lee [Miller]. That's the sort of thing he can do and it didn't come as much of a surprise to any of us."
"They're a very good team and you can see why they're at the top of the table," he admitted. "With me and Liam [Noble] both getting booked it meant we had to be a bit more careful. That took our bite away in the middle of the park and it probably gave them the edge for the latter part of the game."
"Their third goal came because we were pushing forward trying to get a second goal," he said. "They are a very good team and they deserve to go up.
"Everyone wants to be dancing around on the pitch because they've gone up and we have to look at what we've just seen as an incentive for next season. We haven't performed anywhere near where we'd hoped to this season so we want to make sure we push on next time."
"The fans were unbelievable today and we thank them for that," he concluded. "With the fans on the pitch and everything else that was going on it meant we couldn't get across to see them at the end.
"Hopefully we can put on a good display in our final home game of the season to say thank you to them all for supporting us through what has been a difficult season."
