Illness hits wide man
United winger David Symington is set to miss out on the visit of Notts County as he continues to recover from a shingles out-break he picked up earlier this week.
"David has contracted shingles and we think it'll be another four or five days at least before he gets over that one," manager Greg Abbott said.
"He won't be available for the weekend and that's a bit of a blow. We have players who can come in though and there is plenty of competition right through the squad so we go into the game in confident mood."
Teenager Symington has made 9 appearances and scored one goal so far this season having exploded onto the scene following the signing of his first professional contract in the summer.
His performances led to the offer of a new three-year deal within weeks of the season starting and he is now with the club until the summer of 2015.
