Weekly injury bulletin
Our latest update from the treatment room is as follows:Peter Murphy suffered a tightening of his hamstring on Tuesday evening and he will be assessed on Saturday morning as to whether he will be fit for selection for the Bournemouth game, if needed.
Jon-Paul McGovern has stepped up his rehab programme and has been out on the pitches this week. The plan is to now integrate him into training with the lads through next week.
Lee Miller was with the surgeon yesterday [Wednesday] and has been given the go-ahead to increase the work he has been doing on his rehab programme. Obviously this is good news and we can now start to move things on from here for him.
Rory Loy continues to improve and will be involved in full contact training with the lads next week.
Alex Salmon was also with the surgeon yesterday and he received some good news when he was told he didn't need an operation on his ankle. We will now work on him over the next few weeks and assess him as he goes with a view to increasing the workload as we go along.
Jamie Clarey is also still undergoing treatment on his ankle twist and we will work on him over the coming weeks with a view to increasing the tempo of his programme as we progress.
