Manager ahead of the weekend
United manager Greg Abbott spoke to us about the visit of Leyton Orient this weekend. He said: "It always feels like a while since you've been at home when you have back-to-back away games and we're looking forward to it.
"We've had two good performances on the road where we have played well and we want to carry that into the weekend. Obviously the results didn't go the way we wanted, but with a bit more luck we could actually be looking at six points from the trips to Preston and Brentford. We worked hard and the group put everything into it and you can never ask for more than that.
"People talk about our home form and that comes down to how we approach the game from the moment the first whistle blows. We want to build on these performances and turn them into results, so the lads will be going out there to achieve that for us.
"We're starting to see more of the injured players get back onto the training pitches so that looks positive for us. We know once we get back to having everybody fit then we'll be a very tough outfit to deal with, and the players who have been available have done a magnificent job for us in the mean time.
"Orient come here having had a couple of good results this month and they are in a similar position to us. They will want to push on now, so we have to make sure we are the ones taking the game to them at the weekend. We know all about them and we know where they can cause a threat, but we think we have the players to give them something to think about as well.
"With two home games in just a few days it's a chance for us to get some points on the board and to lift the spirits even further. Hopefully that's what will happen for us."
