Latest from the treatment room
A pleasingly short injury update from the treatment room ahead of the weekend trip to Scunthorpe.
James Berrett’s groin problem is improving day by day, which is good news. We have had him doing some jogging, CV and strengthening work and that has all been pain free so far. We will have a further scan with our radiologist at some point over the next couple of days and that will help us to check on the progress he has made. However, at the moment, we are very happy with how things are going. Once the ultrasound has been done we are hoping to get him outside on the pitches. Obviously we will know more once we get the results from that.
Peter Murphy had his hernia three weeks ago and things are going well with him. We have started to do some core work with him this week which is in addition to the CV work he has been doing in the gym over the course of the last ten days. We will continue to work with him as we build things up and, again, take it on a day-by-day basis.
