OFFICIAL MITRE DELTA V12 BALL LAUNCHED

New professional ball in use

To celebrate the 2012/13 season Mitre, the world’s oldest football brand, has unveiled its new professional ball, the Delta V12.

The Delta V12 is the most accurate ball designed by Mitre to date; made of 12 identical panels using a micro fibre material to guarantee unrivalled symmetry. The exclusive 12 panel construction offers enhanced aerodynamics which optimises the accuracy of a shot, without sacrificing the speed or power. It is not only the dream ball for outfield players, but goalkeepers too.

Launched exclusively across all 2012/13 npower Football League and Capital One Cup fixtures, the Delta V12 has been designed with a true spherical shape thanks to the 12 identical panels, which even improves during play.

Each ball's graphic design is unique; with every one of the 72 Football League clubs having their own customised match balls printed with club colours and badge.

Mitre’s heritage and reputation for making the world’s best footballs is unrivalled, with the Delta V12 being another example of Mitre’s innovations in football over nearly 200 years. Its revolutionary design delivers a greater transfer of energy, superior efficiency, stability and aerodynamics than ever before, and will retail at £85.

Nicki Lesirge, Marketing Manager for Mitre, said, ‘’Mitre are committed to constantly improving ball performance and after extensive testing in the lab and on the field of play with professional players, we know the Delta V12 is the most accurate ball we’ve ever created. From the 18th of August all Football League players and supports will be able to enjoy the experience of the new Delta V12 for themselves’’.
